"Listen, there are people that are coming down the pilot ladder of the prow. You go up that pilot ladder, get on that ship and tell me how many people are still on board. And what they need. Is that clear? You need to tell me if there are children, women or people in need of assistance. And tell me the exact number of each of these categories. Is that clear? Listen Schettino, that you saved yourself from the sea, but I am going to... I'm going to make sure you get in trouble. ...I am going to make you pay for this. Go on board."
Captain Gregorio De Falco
Captain De Falco of the Livorno Port Authority demanding the captain of the stricken cruise ship Costa Concordia to return on board where hundreds of passengers were still trapped.

bullet Clarke not in favour of playing four pacers at Gabba corner

Australian captain Michael Clarke has indicated spinner Nathan Lyon will play in the first Test against New Zealand at the Gabba.

Clarke will name his team before the toss on Thursday morning, but strongly hinted that his side would not play a four-man pace attack into the opening Test of the summer.

Now, one of five selectors, Clarke engaged in a 40-minute selection meeting with the rest of the new panel beside the Gabba wicket before training, The Age reports.

The panel has decided on their 12th man, but Clarke chose not to reveal the disappointed player - expected to be paceman Mitchell Starc or Ben Cutting - at his pre-match press conference. (ANI)

We work strenuously to bring our readers a completely independent perspective of Indianapolis news. Our software programmers, editors, journalists and affiliated wire services are all dedicated to producing the best journalism possible.

This in a world where conflicts of interest pervade business empires, and political dynasties, and where a shrinking number of media proprietors are growing their interests at the expensive of diversity of media ownership. The Indianapolis Post is an independent online newspaper. Our focus primarily is to produce the latest breaking stories out of Indianapolis.

We also cover the nation. Regional news too is a priority, as is our extensive world news coverage. For an Indianapolis weather report, local news, breaking international headlines, or what's happening in sports, the Indianapolis Post is for you.

Our Business Centre too is active 24 hours a day, bringing you the latest market updates from key global centres like Tokyo, Sydney, London, Paris, Berlin, and New York. Foreign exchange rates are a regular feature, and we provides a vast range of general interest news covering topics like business travel, seniors, womens interest, and lifestyle stories.
