Locking lips with Fanning was cool: Kristen Stewart
    Indianapolis Post

    (IANS)

Actress Kristen Stewart says she didn't mind kissing co-star Dakota Fanning in their new movie 'The Runaways' and described the experience as 'cool'.

'It was cool. I didn't mind it. The way that it happens in the script is just a sort of moment in time and fun and natural and sort of impulsive,' people.com quoted Stewart as saying.

Even Fanning didn't feel awkward and added: 'It was just another thing.'

The movie is about the 1970s all-girl's band in which Stewart plays rocker Joan Jett and Fanning features as singer Cherie Currie.

Stewart claims she bonded well with Fanning during the shooting of the film.

'Working this closely with someone, you can't help but really become bonded with them and it really helps when you actually like them and can become really good friends,' she said.

'I haven't really done a lot of movies with people close to my own age to have a good friend like that,' she said. 'So I was excited, and I couldn't have asked for a better person to do it with.'
